Meet Todd!
Todd Ely has been an ardent commuter and bicycling advocate—studying, riding, and repairing bikes—for 40 years. Many in the Charlottesville bike community will remember him from Basic Cycles’ original location on 10th Street NW in the mid 1990’s through 2000’s. Passionate about cycling, Todd believes in the social benefits of exercise, traffic reduction, and freedom that bicycling creates. He is happy to put his experience and skill to use: encouraging the local community to take to the streets by keeping their wheels in tip-top shape.
